1954 F350 Ford Fire Engine

Recently, while responding to an emergency call in our Lakeside community, the Lakeside Firefighters made an unexpected but remarkable find: one of the original fire trucks that served our community 80 years ago—a 1954 Ford F350 Fire Engine.

As we were on our way to an emergency call, we spotted this old fire truck sitting in a field, silently bearing witness to the passage of time. Recognizing its potential significance, we wasted no time inquiring about its history and ownership. To our delight, the owner was willing to part with the fire truck, and we were overjoyed to discover that it was indeed one of our original fire trucks that served Lakeside all those years ago.

This discovery has filled us with excitement and nostalgia, as we remember the brave firefighters who once rode this very truck in service to our community. Now, our mission is clear: to restore this historic fire truck to its former glory and preserve its legacy for future generations to appreciate.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to bring this piece of Lakeside's firefighting history back to life. We are already making plans and preparations for its restoration, and we cannot wait to see it shine once again.
